No matter how you choose to travel, by ship or by boat , a trip through this archipelago will awaken your senses. When you reach Skiathos you will discover an impressive architecture which combines a lot of neoclassical elements. The dominant color of the buildings is white. Walking along the narrow streets of Skiathos is a source of energy and serenity at the same time.

The island is blessed with a lot of beautiful beaches. Koukounaries Beach is one of the most famous and beautiful beach in the area . The fine sand which shines in the sun and the pine forest situated behind the beach create a unique landscape.This island is a perfect combination between the active nightlife and the peace and relaxation that the tourists can enjoy during the day. There are a few lovely places that you should visit in Skiathos. The harbor is one of them because it offers you an amazing view of the Aegean Sea.

There are also a few beautiful restaurants where you can try the traditional Greek food. (Choose moussaka !It’s the best !).

Don’t miss Bourtzi, a small peninsula where you can admire the ruins of a Venetian fortress and a very beautiful landscape.  If you are a romantic person and you want to surprise your loved one,Bourtzi is the perfect place.

Other places that you should visit are in my opinion the Museum of Alexandros Papadiamantis, the  Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary and Kastro which is a beautiful fortress.

Skiathos is a perfect summer destination because it offers 60 amazing beaches where tourists can spend unforgettable moments.
