I have to confess that I am not a big fan of museums, but as a passionate traveler I had the chance to visit quite a number of museums during my travels. I often feel a special attraction for unusual museums because I consider them different and interesting.
However, I never miss the world’s most representative and famous museums. When I think about my recent trips, the image of the Louvre Museum comes to my mind. This is the largest history and art museum in France and one of the most important museums in the world.
Situated in Paris and hosted by the Palace of Louvre, this interesting museum displays an impressive collection of different works of art. There are over 35000 sculptures, paintings, jewelry, graphic art elements, decorative objects and antiquities.I discovered there a mixture of cultures and civilizations and an interesting blend between art and history.
There are a lot of beautiful exhibits in the Louvre Museum, but my favorite ones are the famous portrait of Mona Lisa and Pei’s glass pyramid. I believe that both of them are symbols of this museum, along with other representative exhibits.
Even though the decision to visit the Louvre Museum belongs to you, I would like to invite you to take a look at the following pictures. They might play an important role in your decision.
