“Nature is the art of God” how Dante Alighieri says and there are places in this world that can be called real masterpieces of nature due to their overwhelming beauty. If I had to name only a few of them, Krka National Park would definitely be on my list.
Located along the Krka River in Croatia, this national park will delight you with its diversified flora and fauna. Krka National Park shelters a variety of birds, fish and mammals. The whole place looks special and unique and it combines amazing landscapes, beautiful forests and spectacular waterfalls which are formed on travertine terraces. These terraces covered by moss and vegetation make the entire place really special. The beauty of nature is not the only aspect that will impress you when it comes to Krka National Park. There are many other things that you can do there in order to enjoy yourself. You can take a boat trip, visit the museum and the little churches, relax in one of the restaurants there and even go shopping for souvenirs.
